The Centre West mall based on Debenhams is getting demolished, & houses will be built on land. Too many shops are empty. A Culture Centre will give folks a reason to visit EK Centre & for new folks living there a good community amenity.

When I grew up in #EastKilbride in 1960s/70s it was normal for Scots of my generation to have #British identity. Sadly,many younger Scots now don't see themselves as British. Some Scots today descended from 19thC Irish immigrants want a united 🇮🇪 & an end to 🇬🇧. But that not me.
