The surprise for me on this tonight is just how much fresh rasberries I am getting on it. That typical Benromach cracked black pepper is really prominent also. #BenromachWhisky

Palate: Ashy smoke, charred fruit mainly apple. Spice of cinnamon, clove, ginger & mace. Cola. Summer fruit suddenly appear. Alcohol is offering some nip but its not too hot

12yo - much less fruit on the nose on this one but still some spice. Definitely not a Sherry bomb! Lightly citrus and faint whiff of smoke #BenromachWhisky

I'll admit to already owning a bottle of this and not initially being blown away by it. However, it has grown on me. The nose has those typical sherry cask stewed fruits, raisins, branbrack, orange peel, ginger and dark chocolate. #BenromachWhisky
