Palatul Mercur (Mercury Palace), Timișoara.

The bronze #Mercury / #Hermes figure standing on the globe above the corner cupola. It is a copy of Giambologna’s Flying Mercury. The palace was completed in 1909, in the late #ArtNouveau style.

A rather impressive piece of guilded metalwork on the front elevation of the former Northern Assurance Building at 90 St Vincent Street in Glasgow. As far as I can work out, this was part of Campbell's original 1908 design.

The former Cathcart Parish Council Offices on Prospecthill Road in the Mount Florida area of Glasgow. Designed by Crawford and Veitch in an Edwardian Baroque style, they were built in 1907.

The former Northern Assurance Building on St Vincent Street in central Glasgow. Built in 1908, it was designed by John A. Campbell, and to me it seems like its half way between the Art Nouveau and the Art Deco styles.

The impressive former Clydesdale Bank Building on St Vincent Place in Glasgow. Designed in a Venetian Renaissance style by John Burnet Senior, with sculptures by John and William Mossman, and Charles Grassby, it was built in the 1870s.

Easily overlooked, this is one of two relief sculptures salvaged from the facade of Robert and James Adams 1796 Assembly Rooms on Ingram Street by John Carrick when they were demolished in 1890.
