In the context of my story, Summer & Winter Solstice is when all animal transformation curses are neutralized. Cursed people revert to their human form, for the whole day. This is the only time the Heroine can be with her family in their human form.

From A Harvest of the Heart!

Felix walked back from Springer Farm towards Moon’s Hollow with a cloud hanging over his head. His hat drooped, much like his mood. Why was he like that every time he talked to Henry? And what, by Mother Earth’s bounty, did Henry mean by calling him lovely?
Was he making fun of Felix? That’s the only thing that made sense. But Henry was far too kind to make fun of him. Felix sighed. He tilted his head back and watched a few golden leaves break from a maple on the side of the road and flit to the ground. The warm colors brought to mind Henry’s warm hands. Felix’s heart fluttered. This was ridiculous. He was ridiculous.

Wedding WIP takes place in Paris in the late spring early summer. It’s hot already.

Also I think this might be the first time I have snipped from Wedding WIP 🎉

Blake and Dorian strolled up to the venue and Blake swiped his forehead slightly, wiping away a few drops of sweat.
He should have gotten dressed at the venue but the idea of being exposed in a public bathroom made his skin crawl. He had planned this meticulously, picking a hotel that was within walking distance of the wedding venue so that he wouldn't have to deal with carsickness on his wedding day.

A bitter wind rattled his bones and threatened to blow out his weakening flame. He needed to get out of the elements fast.

It was either ride the elevator into the unknown or a slow, painful death.

He chose the elevator.

The entire reason I wrote A Harvest of the Heart was because I love autumn so much! It's a cozy, warm autumn story with witches, a harvest festival, and that wrapped in a quilt feel!

#TBBChat It doesn't really. The season that is outside my window frequently influences when in the year my stories are set, but I write things that take place year round, not just in the autumn.

#TBBChat We're in it now in the northern hemisphere. Love the crunch of leaves and the cooling weather. Love wearing sweatshirts and sweaters and cozy clothes. Love being outside without sweating to death. Mosquitos aren't bothering me. What's not to love?
