I think Simmons appearance and the supa sensitive goth kid has sort of keyed me into the movie's wavelength slightly, it's a bit absurd, the teenage characters are all heightened to the point of being ludicrous.
Also, SICK FUZZ TONE

I HATED Lisa Frankenstein.
Don Coscarelli did a half decent film adaptation of it. And by half decent, I mean the first half is great and then they condense a load of stuff and it's clear they didn't have the budget to finish it off so it suddenly looks terrible.
Been trying to think of what this reminds me of and I've finally twigged. John Dies at the End, a very early 00s Edgy Boi ("WHAT'S UP F-WORDS") type book about a pair of mates who discover otherworldly shit after drinking soy sauce.
It's dated, but it's creative and quite fun.
Don't get in the spooky van, children!
Needy is weirding me out. She already seems like she's got a touch of the other side about her. #SundayCinema
Bollocks, I've been habitually typing #TheFilmCrowd for the last ten minutes, KNOBHEAD.
Don't worry, us going back weekly for the next two months will probably fix that.
"Who's Phil Collins?"
I like Chip so far #SundayCinema
