Much drier with water, ink blotter paper, leaking Biro, pencils, malted milk biscuits, jacket potato with butter, roast strawberries on coconut rice pudding, Balsamic vinegar, duck pancakes with hoisin sauce, plum sauce. Dry finish with Rich Tea biscuits and butter bean casserole #SPEYWhisky

Dram 2: Tenne 9 yrs - on the palate, a wee bit of a chilli kick; quite dry on the finish; hints of marzipan; slightly bitter, dark chocolate notes #SPEYWhisky

Tenne 9yo - Palate : Strawberry laces, jam, boozy fruit cake and vanilla going into dark chocolate, espresso and liquorice, which takes us into a bitter finish, but unlike the first dram the chocolate and coffee notes make it much more pleasant and the jammy fruit still shows through. #SPEYWhisky

Tenne Palate: initially sweet, then a wave of sweet chili heat, then all the fruits from the nose. Fades into strawberry jam and Cadbury's Caramel on the finish

Palate: Oily with rich syrupy malt, dark red berry: cranberry, blackberry & redcurrant. Creamy with vanilla.

Finish: Drying oak, bitter spice and pepper.
