What's the point, as an author, of hating on romance/romantasy/etc.? I don't read much of it myself, but I DO READ reading trend and unit sales reports so I'm fairly confident there wouldn't be contracts for nearly as many of "the rest of us" right now without those books. 🧵 #skywriters #booksky

I came up with the hashtag #skywriters back in 2023, when someone said we needed a nickname unique to the Bluesky writing community. But don’t be too impressed. It took me 30 seconds to come up with it. In a previous career, I was called upon to think up names often.
