Got up early for my LGBTQ+ group coffee thing. Caught up with a couple of people so social battery is empty. Walked round town a bit too much. I have lots to do, but no energy and I failed to complete yesterday's to do list, so I guess I'll just see how it goes and hope for the best.

Working on 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘊𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘋𝘰𝘷𝘦. idk how much I have left to go, but it's probably not crossing the line to novelette? 🤷

Going to be traveling for a few days again, so trying to get as much writing in today as I can. Aiming for a 1.5k day, which I haven't been able to get back to achieving for about a month now.

I brainstormed with a cool friend yesterday, (SO @caffeinatedeel.bsky.social )

I now have direction, plot and maybe even a hint of genre to my work. I just have to sit down and write. I got nothing done yesterday that I was supposed to, but I rested which matters.

I woke up, did a mockup sketch of the cover for Holiday Project and sent it to who I dearly hope will do the commission! It's gonna be mad cute!

Otherwise, editing a horror short I'll be posting soon. I'm making a cover for it, like Rattlebones and Vitrified. Because budget. 🫠

I have a cat on my. Her butt is on my bad hip and her front paws are on my loose rib. Legally, I can do nothing except lie here and read the scenes I need to read.

Ive been rather busy this morning. My printer is apparently on strike? And took the sticker machine with it?
😅 I think our WI-FI is acting up or something. Anyway! I just opened up a little tiny path into my WIP. No words on page yet but I’m planning for once?

My back is strongly suggesting a quiet day with limited movement. The to do list suggests otherwise. Main jobs for the day are washing up, shower, marketing posts, and words, but some of the words need to come from notes on a journal article. Vacuuming might have to wait though.
