So how much money did they pay you for this bullshit?

Because the players don't want to risk losing their livelihoods (and, possibly, their lives) fighting a quite-likely losing battle against the owners, and because they know if they so much as get caught talking about it they'll be fired and blacklisted. They're gonna have to one day.
And where does the US rank here? I mean, literally 1/3 of the country is ride orndie for a fascist political party and are openly doing everything they can mass-disenfranchise voters and dedtroy any insitution that an check their agenda, all while there is an active ethnic cleansing going on.
Worse, it just further encourages polarization because people won't actually listen to others on the "other side" and try to parse what they're actually saying; they just want to attack someone. Hell, poor dumb Will Stancil gets it all the damn the time (he's basically just a lolcow now).
Haters love so take any possible point and misinterpret it to the point of absurdity to justify their rage. Bonus points if it comes from an individual or group they are already primed to despise. I see it from all sides of the spectrum, honestly, and it's just getting old.
Because not all companies will change at once, for starters and, again, there's real research that shows that the time changes are harmful for people. Just stopping it entirely - keeping a fixed time all year - would be beneficial for everyone.
Maybe...don't program it do that?
I mean, to me it depends. Sometimes "I don't" seems like a perfectly acceptable answer if it reflects someone's philosophy as a writer, though usually I would like some kind of extra detail added to make for more interesting reading.
"Open early" isn't really viable for most businesses: opening before normal business hours means spending a lot of money for likely little gain and closing before the end of normal business hours means leaving money on the table. For employees, of course, that's usually not an option at all.
Ooh, lost the rhyme structure there. Might be better to end it with "So chain and send that gross orange man!"
Families are stored in the pumpkins.
Popped right into my head:
Ooooh, that's not good: fire in space is, like, danger numero uno, like "OMG where did all the air go?!"...though there COULD be a dark romance/horror thing there.
sketches maybe. Some people have exotic tastes. Personally, as a writer I get bored doing the same thing. My WIPs are space opera, cyberpunk, low fantasy, dieselpunk pulp, and I'm trying really hard not to start a bronze historical fantasy thing. But I don't have to rely on selling books to eat.
Of course! Shit, as far as I understand it the only real way to make bank in art these days is furry porn and D&D character art; everything else just a side show. It can be useful as a way of expanding what you offer. Some people like different theming, and you don't have to go all-in; a few
The thing is generally in cyberpunk killing hordes of people is supposed to be a fail state of sorts. In the actual Cyberpunk RPG combat is flat-out deadly AND random enough that any character can eat a bullet to the head and get wiped-out instantly.
Basically: more interesting, intricate battles AND fewer of them because you don't need to grind so they don't get frustrating or tedious. It's a CRPG so battles are a must so make them legitimately interesting puzzles to solve, not just "hit attack until over" or "spam Fireball."
Ideally, too, battles provide better rewards than just a little money or Ability Points or XP - special items and materials, sidequests, etc, with a rating for how you win it providing greater rewards; maybe choosing alternate win conditions opens up sidequests or even new party members.
and the party will just be destroyed. Also, in some battles there might be alternate paths to victory like a Talk action to get the enemy to flee or surrender, environmental effects to bypass them, and so on, and choosing these can have different reward or open up different pathways.
