Wasn't sure about #Pressure. Certainly gripping and Andrew Scott is always watchable but Damian Lewis' Montgomery was ridiculous and as for Eisenhower....overall cheesy and a bit lazy...wanted more on the weather, too which was of course the real protagonist.

Film on the importance of a weather forecast to the DDay war effort. Dull premise brilliantly brought to life by the performances of Scott, Condon & Fraser (Lewis weak) and direction generating real tension. Shame the Norwegian contribution was ignored but unexpectedly enjoyable 7

Excellent film #Pressure today. Beautifully presented, atmospheric work with a brilliant ensemble cast driving this rising tensions, open personal hostilities & the vagaries of #European weather picture all rooted firmly in doing right by those on the precipice of the only future they'll have. 5* 💝

Un equipo, una misión y un elemento clave: el tiempo.

Andrew Scott y Brendan Fraser son el capitán James Stagg y el general Eisenhower respectivamente en «Tiempo de victoria» ( #Pressure ). 🪖🌧️

What a week! And it’s great to see modern films holding their own against a lauded 60s classic. The Secret Agent is so good. Huge shout out to #Pressure which like Apollo 13 you know the outcome but how they got there is genuinely nail biting.

How good are your decisions when the pressure really goes up?

Based upon Claire's experiences in the Military, she shares great insight into something lots of us feel uncomfortable with!

We put a lot of #pressure on people to #communicate clearly. Use simpler words. #Explain it differently. Provide more context. But what happens when the #communication isn’t the problem? Sometimes, somebody just has to understand the words. My latest on #Substack ✍🏾.

#Cuba is in the process of disaster recovery - US didn't only reach out in Natural Disaster but also arrested volunteer supporters to get there for help💥 🥶

Watching the brilliant film #pressure, a lot of my thoughts had to do with Ros Atkins' brilliant series #communicatingwithrossatkins #bbc #rosatkins - when you momentarily have the floor, how do you communicate to effect the appropriate response from those who need to hear what you have to say? 🤯
