It's impossible for Roberto to participate in any sports because if he were to try at all everyone would immediately know from his reflexes and superior prowess that he is a vampire. He did try basketball once and was just too perfect at it.

It isn't quite a sport as it's not really recreational, but ParDafi Blade Dances DO tend to happen in arenas.
It's rare for an off-worlder to master the highly choreographed movements (known as a Turi), but Gielle managed at 15. (MujaRi takes all the credit)

Lastak used to go a variety of martial arts, but doesn't do it regularly anymore.
There are a few who do sports. There's one who's a serious amateur wrestler, and there are a few who do team sports recreationally (as in play for their 'suburb' once in a while).

Vola enjoys Runic Sudoku. Considering how old and varied the Dwarvish Runic Language is it is like Sudoku on 4 levels of complexity. Its obviously a hobby but many play it daily.

In my current dystopian project, Weslea is a gymnast who was regionally competitive in middle school.

In CoJ, Flo played college-level volleyball and Cole played hockey at some point. Flo also has a history of playing chess-made-sexy.
I’m pretty sure I’ve already mentioned Akieryon *almost* hustling chess. Raaqiel was involved. And they both used to play against Chaizhyn, before the collapse of Seyzharel.

Hey there, #OctoberWorldbuilders! We're starting a new week, this one dedicated to sports and games within our fictional worlds! Do you have any characters who play a sport or game? Do they play professionally or just as a hobby?
#TheDragonblood: At the risk of repeating myself (since this is pretty much the only detail I have about Kumat at the moment), we have some pretty old structures, in particular the Pyramids and Sphinx. They do tend to get covered in sand.

There’s a few ancient ruins scattered across the Barrens, mostly of long-gone civilizations predating Vekzis & Isendia, Ruquall’s longest-lasting realms.
Some of these ruins are suspected to hold jewels, precious metals, & artifacts sacred to Orichalcum.
I think the most interesting one I could use for this month would be the plague lands.
While they are not exclusively deserts, it is definitely dominated by large stretches of extreme baron landscape.
Both the hot kind and the frigid cold kind.
Iradiated wastelands 🌈 ☢️ ✨
#OctoberWorldbuilders A geologist would note the well-developed river valleys centered on arroyos, and work out that Hiddigaha once had a lot more rain.
An archeologist would love the Great Bull Temple, built by the conqueror Dushar the Great for his patron deity.

7. Desert ruins
Wander the Azrakia sands for long enough, and you may wander into the 'cursed lands' around the Gates of Hel. The ruins here tell the faintest, weakest tale of the island's prosperous past, as they are the remains of Kuramoila, the greatest city there ever was.

Like everywhere else in the world of Prophecies, the vast desert is peppered with ancient ruins full of magical items and fierce monsters. What do the desert's ruins have that most other ruins don't? Sand.
There are pyramids, but all of them are buried in the sand and most of them are upside down. The only things you'll find are trouble and confusion. The pyramids are cursed and hold powerful magic artifacts (but also monsters)
