Film #328: The She Creature
It has a few moments where it feels like something interesting is about to happen... and then it gets pretty one-note. Honestly, needed to be at least 20% more gay. Did dig that monster suit though! #2026Films

Film #327: Sting of Death
Fairly silly and cheap monster movie. Around the time the movie took a break to just show the worst "college students" have a dance party, I knew what kind of picture this was. #2026Films

Film #326: Race For Your Life, Charlie Brown
Peppermint Patty's interpretation of democracy makes me sure that she would run for political office. I also question the wisdom of the staff of this summer camp. It's weird but still kinda fun. #2026Films
Film #325: Ginger Snaps
It's okay. Becoming a monster as a metaphor for becoming a woman is a pretty common trope and it doesn't do anything too out of the ordinary with that but the performances of the leads and make-up and creature effects make it better than average. #2026Films

Film #324: The Shawshank Redemption
Impressively well made King adaptation. Performances are all fantastic, there's a reason this got run as much on TBS back in the day. Just the way the years fly by. One thing that rubbed me the wrong way but also understandable given the setting. #2026Films
Film #323: Cinderella
I can see why this was as popular as it was on TV. It's a very talented cast. Songs aren't the best that Rodgers and Hammerstein ever did but the cast makes sure that they work pretty well. #2026Films

Film #322: Clue
Tim Curry nearly steals the film from the women in the cast. Nearly. #2026Films
Film #321: The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas
Dolly and Burt are really good together. Songs are catchy though I could have done with more Dolly than Burt. Also, ending message leaves something to be desired. #2026Films

Film #320: American Anthem
My issue isn't so much an athlete playing an actor because all the instances in the film are serviceable. My issue is the music video editing and a story that is massively all over the place. One major story beat barely gets an ending and another just happens. #2026Films
Film #319: They Came From Beyond Space
Fairly dull British sci-fi film. Not the worst Alien Invasion flick but it takes half the film to get going and, once it does, it still drags. Ending is a little hopeful so it had that going for it. #2026Films
Film #318: Doctor Mordrid
A not particularly good off-brand Doctor Strange film. Some of the set design is good and the bits of stop motion aren't bad. Just cheesy honestly. #2026Films
Film #317: Buddy
Delightfully twisted film. It's not perfect and the ending doesn't completely work but it definitely has some great scenes and some of the best child actors I can remember. #2026Films

Film #316: The End of Oak Street
It feels like an episode of an 80s anthology series. There are a lot of interestingly composed shots, and I love the dinosaur designs. Anne Hathaway is as great as ever. I definitely have thoughts about that ending, though. #2026Films
