Was amazed to find a peloric common toadflax on yesterday's Norfolk Flora group meeting. This is caused by epigenetic changes preventing normal gene expression. This means the flower cannot form properly resulting in the mutant flower @bsbibotany.bsky.social #wildflowerhour

I took my camera into work on Friday and went exploring at lunchtime. Not sure if this is Common Lime or Small-leaved but it's has a good year for #Fruits. I remember as a child being disappointed that you don't get limes on a lime tree (they aren't related to citrus fruits at all). #WildflowerHour
