A vast amount of Chenopodium hybridum Maple-leaved Goosefoot in a south Norfolk field while checking on an old Henbane record. I’d only seen a single plant before, now I’ve seen tens of thousands! Refound the Henbane too:) #wildflowerhour

Getting harder to find flowers in bloom other than the ubiquitous gorse, heather and red campion, but saw an interesting clump of common toadflax today near the clifftops.

#WildflowerHour #StillFlowering the beautiful furry leaves of Marsh St John's-wort Hypericum elodes creeping across the bog at Roydon Common in West Norfolk with one or two lemon yellow flowers still showing.

#WildflowerHour #WildflowerAllotment And lastly the California Poppy that for some reason appeared within the carrot and clover bed has been much appreciated by this heavily laden bee.

Portland Spurge, also at Humphrey Head; the flowering bit at some distance up the cliff and much as I like plants I was not willing to go any closer than the actual sand at the bottom of the cliff. Fitter says the red tinge is something Portland does but Sea Spurge does not. #WildflowerHour

A lot has faded but there's still heather blooming on the gritstone in the high peak. #wildflowerhour
