- a classic always worth rewatching,

- a so-so action comedy held together thanks to its directors' work

- a decent remake of Kind Hearts & Coronets

- and one of the best epic films I've ever seen.

Sunburn is my biggest #TIFF26 surprise. A hilarious and heartfelt comedy-drama set in Toronto’s St. James Town and one of my favourite films of 2026, period.
