Miami Vice deserves it cult reappraisal thanks to it's excellent digital cinematography that would give Christopher Nolan pause. Colin Farrell also delivers a soulful performance despite a ridiculous haircut and cocaine bloat. #lastfourwatched.

Continuing my Tim Curry binge with a scene-stealing bit part in a gangster farce, a tribute/remake of his iconic classic, and two pre-Rocky TV roles, livening up an otherwise stodgy mystery, and mesmerizing in a Dennis Potter head-trip.

STAR TREK turned 60 this week. Thought about logging all viewings of TREK films I can remember to celebrate. Sadly, only got two down "on paper". With a nuclear angst thriller and a Liam Neeson one.
