#WIPSnips this time from "A DANGEROUS GAME" which is the first of the Kalista Chronicles to have a subtitle (Enter the Hellscape). Anyway, this one comes from chapter 9 which is almost midway through the book.

I walked out of the hall with its purple and black damask wallpaper and stopped as Cherif stepped to the swinging half door of the bar which blended into the rest of it.
“Can I get your regular before you head over to the dining area?” he asked. I stepped to the counter and onto the reinforced neon tube that ran along the bottom of the bar while setting my forearms on the top.
“The Kalista Special, and make it a double,” I said, needing the extra hit to help me focus. He dipped his head then paused as he looked at the counter.
“Or would you like to try something new we got in stock. It’s called Chaos Theory,” he said, pulling out a square bottle with no label. Inside was a familiar amber liquid with a pinkish tinge or swirl that only came from ambrosia.

If John was the last canonical Gospel to be written, why did it omit nearly everything from the Synoptics? The Gospel of John was the first Gospel written, but it was kept secret as being too controversial. In the Gospel of John, Jesus claimed to be God.
