We are The Hoffman Lab based at Bielefeld University, Germany!
Our group aims to understand the genetic basis of fitness variation in and among natural populations. We work on pinnipeds 🦭, fungi 🍄 and birds 🐥.
@thehoffmanlab.bsky.socialLast week we welcomed @keatontremble.bsky.social from the USA to our lab🍄He and Joe spent time in the forest visiting the field sites of our mushroom project, then joined us at the pub quiz.
Great science, great company. Thanks for the visit, Keaton!
