We continue with the translation session at #PGRP2026 with @djgibbs.bsky.social who will talk about his recent exciting paper on co-translational quality control in plants (see also the very very recent publication from his lab ➑️ www.nature.com/articles/s41...)

Very happy to be in MΓ‘laga πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡Έ for #PGRP2026 🧬🌱

A new community for me - looking forward to learning about the latest advances, making new connections, and presenting our recent work on TOR-NOT4 signalling and co-translational quality control!

Oxygen levels in leaves is a hot topic in @isplore.bsky.social and I'm very curious to find out how this all fits together!

Our work, Progressive oxygenation of developing leaves directs morphogenesis, is now out in Science Advances!
We found that developing leaves oxygenate from tip to base, strikingly mirroring their developmental axis, and this drives leaf dev. www.science.org/doi/10.1126/sciadv.aef2430
