🪶 Good Morning, Happy Saturday Everyone! Today’s #BirdOfTheDay theme is: #Dawn; any bird captured at sunrise Alt. is #Dusk; any bird captured at sunset - A Silhouette shot of a cormorant in a pine tree at dawn #ECK #birdphotography #birdsofbluesky #naturephotography #EastCoastKin #ClassicMono

A Silhouette shot of a Cormorant perched in a pine tree at dawn. The bird is slightly below centre of the shot and small in the shot. It has its back to the camera and head turned to the left so the profile of its long beak can be seen. Its long neck is tucked into its body and its tail is out to the right of its body. The bird is perched near the end of a long bare pine branch, which comes from the right of the shot. Another branch runs parallel to it, along the entire bottom of the frame and has needles at the end of its off branches. A third branch runs along the top, also from the right, and stop halfway across. The background is a grey-white sky with a dark patch in the top left and wisps along the left hand side.
