6/6 So you would think, hey, why not date him while keeping the dynamic? Well, unfortunately, if they get into a serious relationship he can't agree to Scar sleeping around with people he doesn't really know. So he just doesn't say anything, enjoying and appreciating the way he walked into his life.

5/6 Cub likes the way he comes and goes and brings him new items and new stories of his crazy adventures. He likes how carefree Scar is, like a little cat that visits him from time to time.

4/6 Cub does like Scar, but he didn't even think about having anything serious because he thought that's not realistic for Scar and he doesn't want to be the reason he takes Scar's freedom because he likes that part about him.

3/6 Not that he knows the flowers are based off how Scar feels about the other person anyway and on top of that he doesn't really know flower language.

2/6 Cub doesn't even consider the fact Scar would want anything more serious with him, since he knows Scar sleeps around so he just assumes Scar doesn't do serious relationships in general. So he keeps it at that. That's also why he doesn't pay attention at the daffodil mark.

5/5 and then you see cub just thinking scar is cute and whatever he does is just endearing to him and not annoying and that's why he doesn't get angry. scar gets away with a lot of bullshit because he is cute and he knows it, except with cub because it feels too good to be true

4/5 but cub doesn't seem to get angry no matter what he does and he is getting more and more scared he is just tolerating scar because he doesn't care and he doesn't matter to cub

3/5 so with grian and mumbo he is confident he is gonna just insert himself between the two because they would kick him out if they really didn't like him since they're very blunt and he is calm that if there is an issue, they would tell him or even yell at him about it

2/5 that's because scar is convinced his feelings are one-sided and that there is no way someone much older like cub would consider him seriously (maybe as a one night stand yea sure) and on top of that scar is used to not being the first choice anyway (at least in this au)
