I don't understand how they can both email me what they did and turn around with genai posters? So confused.

A wild one is a fest that told me in email that they don't support genAI but now all their posters use it and I'm like... What? But no one seems to be commenting or saying anything on any of their posts, and my comments have gone, unsurprisingly, unresponded to lol

Hey so are people just cool with all these webfests being cool with generative AI or using AI posters just because it gets your name out there? Like is it fine if it promotes your things or...? Where do you draw the line?

I am so tired seeing everything I love morph into another ladder I feel pressured to climb.
