At this point in time we cannot give a timeline on vod storage. Storing large video files is prohibitively expensive. We won't say never. But it is not a priority for us right now. If vod storage is a requirement we recommend multi streaming to a platform that provides it or not using alt!

Our formal TOS is being worked on. But our informal is "if its legal, it's okay". We're an adult site (not a porn site), as such we expect folk to behave like adults. Queer media, kink talk, "heavy" topics are fair game.

That will have been why. We don’t have transcoding so we advise dropping it down for people with a lower internet speed. Unless it’s a very high action video game 1080p is fine with 4k bitrate, it was the default for a long time ^_^

Hi! Was your bitrate was over 5k it might have been purposely disconnecting you as we set a 3k - 4k bitrate limit.

I should also add, we are admittedly not expecting to become a large platform, if it happens then wonderful, but as of right now we are expecting to remain a niche option aware that we currently do not offer things people may want. E.G. vod storage.

As it stands we have a flat operating cost of just shy of £90 per node. As we grow and gain the financials to do so we will add new hardware nodes to our fleet which will be loadbalanced. I can't get into the weeds right now, but we have a plan for horizontal scaling with our current provider.

We are in a fairly unique position where we pay a flat rate for bandwidth with no risk of throttling by our provider. This is normally the killer cost for other platforms. Our supplier allows us to fully saturate our connections 24/7 with no risk of a fair use policy coming in at 30% like others.

Hey, so I can answer this for you. We are currently covering our operating costs via Ko-Fi supporters. We intend to roll out bonus features for supporters in time. Right now supporters have funded the cost for new hardware and have almost met the threshold for horizontal scaling with a new node.
