The past few days have been heavy for many Americans.
I sat down and wrote about it.

Reject colonialism. Reject imperialism. Embrace the working class struggle.
Roughly 13,000 or so Haitian refugees were accepted by the U.S. and settled down in Springfield, OH. The administration is wanting to rip that status away to send ICE into that community. By definition, that’s ethnic cleansing.
Strikes and boycotts will build. We will not back down. Working class people are sick and tired of working hard and not being able to afford housing, healthcare, or build a family. We have power. We are somebody.
Seven Democratic Senators voted to confirm Kristi Noem as DHS Secretary: Sen. John Fetterman (PA.) Sen. Maggie Hassan (NH) Sen. Tim Kaine (VA) Sen. Andy Kim (NJ) Sen. Gary Peters (MI) Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (NH) Sen. Elissa Slotkin (MI) All should face primaries.
Stop aiming for people who disagree with you to agree with you, aim to get those who agree with you to do something.
Reminder: slavery hasn’t been abolished in the United States. The 13th amendment says slavery is legal as a punishment for a crime. Black Americans have been living under mass incarceration for decades, what we are seeing is an acceleration of this system.

ICE is responsible for 50% of shootings in Minneapolis in 2026, per the mayor.
It went from “America First” to “we’re going to run Venezuela” in less than a year. And Americans still don’t have affordable housing, healthcare, or groceries.
I wrote this as we enter 2026.
Does the Republican Party face a bigotry problem? Yes. There is a difference between free speech and coddling bigotry. But the real reason the divide in MAGA is bubbling up is because President Trump is not following through on making life better for working class people.
We need a 4-day, 32-hour work week with livable wages. There is no reason that people need to be working this much. People need time off to rest and spend with family and friends.
The 13th Amendment did not abolish slavery. The 13th Amendment did not abolish slavery. The 13th Amendment did not abolish slavery. It is still permissible for the punishment of a crime.
We’re not shopping at Target, shop Black-owned.
Here’s a list of Black- and minority-owned businesses that are in Target, buy from them directly. open.substack.com/pub/ninaturn...
The movement that will deliver progress for all Americans will be born out of the fight for Black liberation. It will not come from anywhere else. The systems that hold all working class Americans back are rooted in anti-Blackness.
The reason 42 million Americans are on SNAP is because employers aren’t paying living wages.
People are stressed out about the cost of groceries, the cost of housing, the lack of decent wages. People who vote Democrat are feeling it. People who vote Republican are feeling it. People who vote third party are feeling it. People who don’t vote are feeling it.
This is a time for people to come together and push for things we agree on: - Release the Epstein list. - Ban congressional stock trading. - Get corporate and dark money out of politics.
I have a problem when politicians who tell working class people “we can’t afford to fund your healthcare” while they continue to raise the Pentagon budget every year. The Pentagon can’t pass an audit, yet they continue to get funding. It’s wrong.
THE PENTAGON BUDGET JUST HIT A TRILLION DOLLARS. Not a single pundit from either political party said “how are we going to pay for it?!” Don’t dare tell us we cannot ALL have healthcare, housing, and education.
