On a personal note it’s been a bitter sweet time winning an award w the recent passing of my Dad. I haven't found the right words to say or know how to feel during all this. Dad you were the person I'd call to celebrate with. Unfortunately you just missed this last call. Hope I could make you proud.

Aaron Edwards for music implementation. I would give Aaron a bunch of music parts and say "You have full creative control on implementing the music, have fun. I look forward to hearing it in game!". Thanks for making the music sound great and giving it it’s dynamic character, its half the job!

The art team! The art style played a huge role in determining the music. I would spend hours staring at the game to try and match the style musically. If the game had looked any different, the music certainly would have been too.

What a rush! Malys won Excellence in Music at the 2026 Australian Game Developer Awards! This game we play of building video games isn't a solo sport, it's a team sport & I wouldn't have been on the stage if it weren't for the team around me.
