To connect federal dollars for natural disaster recovery to the outcome of an election is absolutely offensive.
North Carolina is a sports state, and I am excited to welcome the Women’s Tennis Association headquarters and Finals to Charlotte.
There’s something special about coming together to serve others. It was great to work alongside Activate Good volunteers in Raleigh on 9/11 and see the impact that can happen when people show up, pitch in, and work together. That spirit of service makes our communities stronger.
Our film industry has built a strong presence in North Carolina, with a talented workforce and communities across our state benefiting from the jobs and investment that productions bring. We need to make sure production companies have the certainty they need to keep choosing North Carolina.
North Carolina is once again leading the way in flight. I joined NCDOT today to celebrate the state’s first electric air taxi flights through eLIFT-NC.
It tastes better out of the Stanley Cup. Let’s go, Canes!
We had a great time welcoming the Carolina Hurricanes to the People’s House and celebrating this incredible team, their historic playoff run, and what the Canes mean to our state. This team gives North Carolina something to cheer for together, and we’re proud to celebrate our Stanley Cup champions.
This is no way to respond to a tragic disaster, no way to run a country, no way to campaign for office. Western North Carolinians have been working their tails off for the past two years to recover from Helene. It’s time for Washington to match their grit and fund our $10 billion request.
I love North Carolina. It’s the best state in the nation, and I am incredibly honored to serve you as your governor. My job is to make North Carolina better, safer, and stronger. And this November, I am excited that we’re going to send
@roycoopernc.bsky.social to the U.S. Senate to help.
We need to embrace innovation, but we have to do it in a way that doesn’t harm North Carolinians. Data centers should bring their own clean power and pay for their own energy, not leave families paying higher electricity bills because of data centers’ energy demands.
North Carolina’s film industry supports thousands of jobs and brings millions of dollars in investment to communities across our state. Over the past 10 years, production companies have spent more than $1.4 billion in North Carolina and supported nearly 67,000 jobs.
Earlier this year, I got to meet with tennis legend Billie Jean King, and today I’m excited for big tennis news for Charlotte and North Carolina: The Women’s Tennis Association is coming to Charlotte, bringing its headquarters, jobs, and the WTA Finals to our state from 2027 through 2029.
Yesterday we kicked off Hispanic and Latino Heritage Month at the People’s House and honored the many contributions of Latino North Carolinians.
Data centers must pay their own way to lower our electricity costs. It’s time for the Utilities Commission to make Duke Energy’s voluntary pledge legally binding so that North Carolina families do not bear the costs of data centers.

We can’t always know when the next storm or emergency will happen, but we can prepare for it. This National Preparedness Month, I’m sharing a few steps every North Carolinian can take to be ready when an emergency strikes. Read my latest column on Substack: substack.com/home/post/p-...
I had a special birthday today. Finished it off with my family at dinner. Thanks for all for the birthday wishes. ❤️
To all those celebrating Rosh Hashanah across North Carolina: L’Shana Tova! May you have a happy, healthy, sweet, and peaceful new year.
Congratulations to team North Carolina for advancing to its 3rd championship game in the Little League Softball World Series in the last 4 years! Our young women beat Florida 4-0. Anna-Lynn Clark pitched a beast of a game with 11 strikeouts! Good luck beating Kentucky on Sunday.
ONE MORE! LET'S GO CANES!!!
