After nearly 3 years, I was unexpectedly laid off from Gazetteer. I’m proud of the stories I worked on, and I learned a lot helping build a new media outlet in SF from the ground up without relying on social or search (and before the Google traffic collapse, no less). Will miss my colleagues.

The storied blues and punk venue appealed to patrons to contact city leaders and said they hope the closure is temporary.
