It sounds awful, but I got extremely lucky. Most people who fall with their entire body weight onto a bent elbow can shatter it, so I am still grateful despite everything.

I won't be able to stream on Thursday with Blue because I am in a sling for 2 weeks and need to rest or I could permanently damage my arm. That's also why I'm moving my anniversary celebration to the 15th - 17th to make sure I am safe to stream.

I'm focusing on recovery and can remove the sling in 2 weeks, and can return to more strenuous tasks in 6-12 weeks. Lingering pain and stiffness can sadly take up to 6 months to fully heal, and I may have a permanent issue with fully straightening my arm.

I have a fracture and will be finding out on Tuesday with a CT scan if I need further treatment - but the fracture clinic are 99% sure that I won't need surgery. I have an Occult Proximal Radius Fracture and an Olecranon Fracture, along with a clean break in my toe.
