The DOJ filed a petition for a writ of certiorari in late Aug but we haven’t heard anything yet (also still waiting on DC circuit to issue a mandate following their upholding PI in June). As of hearing yesterday, all is moving fwd for DC district bench trial in early Jan. Surely SCOTUS appeal after.

Today we commemorate the 251st birthday of the United States Navy.

Many SPARTA Pride members serve or served in our Navy with pride, even as the trans ban has ended so many of their careers. Thank you to all the sailors, veterans, and #Navy families who have stood the watch since 1775.

In 1999, transgender Navy vet Monica Helms had dinner with the creator of the bisexual pride flag. When he said the trans community could use one, Monica designed the iconic one we know today 🏳️‍⚧️ She later founded Transgender American Veterans Association #lgbtqhistorymonth

When Zarah was a Marine Corps spouse, her husband’s supervisor was a transgender man. He was qualified and capable. But what really stood out to her was how well he took care of his people, including spouses. This service member has lost their career due to the discriminatory trans military ban.

As we kick off LGBTQ+ History Month, a reminder that attempting to erase LGBTQ+ history in books, classrooms, and government means silencing the stories, accomplishments, and tribulations of millions of Americans. We pledge allegiance to the same flag and swear an oath to serve the same country.

LGBTQ Veterans Day grew again in 2026. Nineteen states, Washington, D.C., King County, and communities across the country recognized the service of LGBTQ veterans and servicemembers.

A sailor who deployed on the USS Abraham Lincoln was about to take over the avionics shop when the trans military ban dropped.

Not only had prior experts already departed, but she was sent home. This cruel policy hasn't just ended thousands of careers — it's harmed readiness #military wide.

No one cares about pronouns in combat; just performance. Trans service members proved that time and time again with deployments to combat zones. We were qualified & met all standards. Throwing slurs at our community clearly indicates the trans ban is founded on discrimination, not evidence. #hegseth
