At some point we should discuss why it takes six weeks to get an ebook from the library and who it serves. Spoiler: it ain’t the library, and it ain’t you.
in 2020 my lab quit Microsoft Word and began writing in R Markdown, an open-source document-publishing system that facilitates a clear, permanent link between statements in text (scientific prose) and the code producing analyses and visualizations supporting those statements (scientific analyses)

Ok, I have installed #IOS27 on my iPad… now what? 😃
If you have already started using it, what have you found the most compelling or interesting new feature on IOS devices?
So if the key ingredient in apple cider donuts is *apple*, then they can be classified as a *fruit*, correct? 😃
25 years after what we in the USA would come to just know as “9-11”, I can still remember where I was that morning when I got a phone call telling me to turn on the news….. I think that is probably true of most of us who were alive then. It was a day to remember. 😢
This wins “the best headline of the day”, in my opinion. Well-played! And a VERY serious topic…
One Class In High School That Changed My Life – And I Almost Didn’t Take It It's funny how decisions you may make in the moment can affect the course of your life. It was the fall of 1984 and I was signing up for classes for my last semester at my high school in southern Connecticut. I had one…
A Livestream of Dragon Boats – and the magic of the Internet! This weekend I was reminded again of just how amazing this Internet we've all built together really is! There I was at 6:00am in my house in Vermont ... drinking my cup of tea and watching my wife and her team compete in dragon boat…
