Agreed!! Two great films and fantabulous performances all around!!

He's such a sweetie pie 🥰

So great!! As soon as she got the reference, you knew it was meant to be!!

She was absotively perfect!! Apparently one of the reasons she was so great as a straight man is that she didn't get the jokes and wondered what people were laughing at 😂

And I can't not post my little guy, Groucho Barx, in honor of his namesake... 💕

I remember this cover but I think it's the same album!

It wasn't officially Christmas Eve at my house growing up if Johnny Mathis wasn't playing on the phonograph

If I feel moved to applaud, I don't care whether the person I'm applauding can hear it. They still deserve it. I don't think there's ever anything dumb about expressing appreciation for someone's work. Should no one post about a film they love if the artists aren't going to read it?

Watching this movie is like memories of my own family and I would have been that woman 😂

Healing as fast as I can 💪💕

I'm so envious!!!

It was indeed 💕

Yes!! Exactly that one

He could be almost sweetly subversive, if that makes sense. I absolutely love them all, with a special affinity for those as well, for the same reasons, but if I have to pick one, it's Lady Eve. Stanny is perfection and there's no sexier/funnier seduction scene in a film than the head massage...

I have the dvds, but for tonight I sprang and rented it on Amazon streaming

I'm about to watch Morgan's Creek in a few minutes!!

I have both volumes and now want to reread after watching Palm Beach Story yesterday- haven't read for over 20 years and have no recollection lol I feel a Sturges kick starting...
