A run, with no running game on backup to the backup rusher, on their own 3 with 18 sec is asking for a turnover, lot of nothing, or an injury. At least a deep bomb has a slim chance of something (or an int with how the QB's been in the last couple of games) SEA defense deserves better than this...

Between inability of the running corps to not fumble every other attempt and the brilliant idea to go for anything, especially a run, with 18 sec left in 1st half on own 3*, the Seahawks beat themselves *Literally yelling at my TV "either deep bomb or just take the knee". Seriously, why run there?!

Alex's bday today. Glad the sun always comes out for her day. Also got flowers for her brother, Nathan, as well

Let's gooooooooo!!!

Between Well Dweller and both Fallen Tear and Fatal Claw getting out of early access (all three well worth the price of admission), September has been a feast for metroidvania fans

Finished Well Dweller today and have to say this is easily in my top of 2026 list. I love a game with smooth enough controls and movement that you feel like you're using speed strats when you're just playing the game as designed. Controlling the game is a true joy

Happy Well Dweller day to all who celebrate! And to those who don't...you really should! Can't think of any game dev better at consistently understanding what makes a fun and interesting metroidvania game like @kylethompsondev.bsky.social

Watched the latest vlogaftercollege and feel emotionally wrecked. Will miss the adventures of Gatsby the corgi

15 days in and, rightfully, I think no rational person would believe me if I said how my September has been going. My month sounds like the worst soap opera scripts. Normally I love September - the sun of summer meets the cozy of fall - but seriously this September...

Went for a 5 mile walk in very sunny weather. After the week I had and the emotional rollercoaster I've experienced, it felt good to just forest bathe and escape

Taking a minute to recharge our batteries

I think I've had about 3-4 times as many cups of coffee in the last 3 days than total hours of sleep

So sleepy...so very sleepy...

Incredible view from the hospital waiting room with the double rainbow

So I've spent the last 7 hours just mumbling "what's going on?" and might be in shock
