He makes a good point.
"What we say now is critical. Elections are decided by those who are only paying attention now. We must set the agenda, lead with data centers, blame the cost-of-living on corruption, convince voters we will stand up to monopoly power, avoid safety net debates, and hold Republicans accountable."
"We are so focused on fighting our opponents, sometimes we forget that the whole point of debates is to win over the audience. Instead of memorizing statistics, we should express our principles: pivot from attacks and land our “money” lines: moral statements that cannot be refuted."
"There is, in fact, an American tradition of fighting to bring collective and democratic authority to bear on disruptive technologies — of using politics to try to shape and direct the impact of major economic transformations."
Ossoff: "What did they spend the most political capital trying to do over the last 18 months? Cover up the Epstein files. They worked harder to cover up the Epstein files than they ever did to lower grocery prices."
New Jersey has fined a huge data center in New Jersey over $1 million for installing and operating 62 large gas powered generators without state permits. This comes as other data centers, like Elon Musk's facilities in Memphis, pollute communities with unpermitted turbines and face no consequences.
Reminding people to vote is great, but we still need to give them a reason to vote and to vote for us. The people we most need to reach do not follow the news. A protest or overpass sign may be the only message they see this cycle. The best signs tell people what we stand for and do it simply.
NEW POST: Trickle up? Middle out? Floors and ceilings? Fair shots? Why do we create messaging that fails to connect with voters? Our messaging fails when we throw words together that do not correspond to the mental models people use to make sense of our world.
