Thinking back to when I voiced Ember, Eva & Cleo from an old long dead game called Dot Arena back in 2014. It was my first video game booking when I was on VoiceBunny & if I had known it was such a big game during it's time you wouldn't have been able to shut me up.

I'm not trying to pull a "no ethical consumption" fallacy, I'm mainly pointing out that unfortunately not using sites that promote AI in any way is not as easy an ask as you would think it is, especially when building a brand online. Many authentic creators use TikTok without AI as well.

If you don't want to use & support TikTok or those other sites, as a consumer you can do that. As a creator, ignoring the visibility it offers me is essentially hindering my platform from growing cuz there is no viable alternative at the moment.

Youtube, Instagram, Twitch, Twitter & many sites use & push AI, even our phones. My issue pertains with GenAI & I try to avoid it as much as possible. That being said, I'm a content creator & social media is required to grow a brand. The best I can do is grow my content in spite of it.

Bruh everything uses AI to process what people post, even BlueSky to an extent and here we are. As much as I don't like it, trying to escape it on most mainstream websites is an exercise in futility I only go on TikTok during long bathroom breaks and car rides anyway, it ain't that deep.

TikTok keeps advertising AI Short Dramas and they're hilariously bad man, I'm so tempted to react to some of them to showcase how trash they are

The Cha-Cha Slide is probably the worst piece of music to have ever spawned from Satan's dingleberry and I'm glad that Lindsay Ellis shares in my hatred of it. I'll take Hudson Mohawke's Cbat over it any day

I find it ironic that the some of the people who are for GenAI within the Anime & Vtubing spheres are also those same people that whine & try to start culture wars over "tourists". If you give everyone the key, then doesn't the lock lose worth? I thought they liked gatekeeping? Funny that.

The best thing about being able to cook and making a big ol pot of soup is being able to freeze leftovers and go back to them four months later when you're too lazy to cook. Thank you past me~
