Lloyd's shows the support vessel Frontier (IMO 9141156) on standby close to the tanker since Aug 25.
Unlikely to be able to do much at the moment. But good to have capacity on site, in case weather conditions improve.

Good news - the tanker as such seems to be largely intact.
Bad news - it keeps leaking oil unchanged.
NE winds of 28kts likely pushing the oil to Oman's coast.
Waves of currently 3.5m further hampering salvage activities.

Nearly 1 tanker a day changed flag to Russia in the last 3 weeks. From a variety of other flags, and not only from Cameroon, that stated to clean up its registry.
There seem to be pull, not push forces at work.
