Who needs a Smart Fridge for it to be Dumb? It's once again time to reset the timed Order Filter light on our Whirlpool fridge. We don't even have the tap hooked up, because the installer refused to touch our copper water line without deferring to a unionized plumber from another company.

Here is a thread about a person being booted for an event for "Zionism" when they had not in fact done any Israel/Palestine related advocacy at all and appear to have been targeted for simply being Jewish

Gonna go on my usual out of touch limb and say, Never heard of them before now? Which is probably a bonus so I don't have to want to either.

Netnerk Tißnams, must be German.

Well, he's certainly got you talking about him. And you know what they say, there's no such thing as bad publicity.

Instead they should pull out of all the fascist countries until the laws get better.

It's a good thing I'll never be a game dev, because I can never make up my mind faster than when someone else tells me what to do.

And if nobody really joined in to contribute to the project in the first place while you were still working on it actively? Maybe that way, nobody will miss it when you delete it from existence, either. Surely if it mattered, a dozen clones would have already sprung into existence while it lived.

Re: Harbourmasters accepting AI contributions. Maybe it's better that when you're not a lot of developers and you're spread thin and burning out, you should just retire and stop writing software altogether.

I see we are taking back properties from Mr. Cawthon, who hates us all, but loves our money.

Tried to flex this on a first date but the waitress
took it and asked what it was and why it said
"pissvortex" on it. I explained that it's called X
Money and she said they don't take that but
when I tried to explain she just kept laughing. I
told her just to try it so she did but it declined
which made her laugh harder. WTF @elonmusk

Would it really be all that bad if everyone just paid $0.16 per GB per month to host hundreds of gigabytes of videos all the time, then paid like $0.16 per view, forever? Oh, and you don't get multi-format transcoding either. Or I suppose we could all go back to hosting dialup optimized crap.
