From Gaza Scholars.
58 students in Gaza won full scholarships to Irish universities. Their visas were refused and they are still in Gaza. Put your name behind them, then ask your TDs to act. #LetThemStudy
As someone who was diagnosed this time last year with cancer in both breasts & subsequently had to go through surgery, radiation and now on a five year course of drug treatment, I cannot stress how important it is everyone to check their breasts.

We joined the 10,000 strong demonstraton today in Dublin in support of Palestine.
Survivors of the war speaking of what they hoped for the future was particularly poignant.
€8.6 BILLION! 💰💰💰
Sounds impressive right? But where are the results and what does it really cost us?
This Government has shown once again they are failing to plan which means they are planning to fail.

In last years budget, SEAI was allocated €640 million to support home retrofit. Min Chambers has just announced that SEAI will get €654.5 million in 2027 for retrofit. A €14.5 million increase. A 2% increase.
Budget 2027 is upon us.
We've been pushing our pre-budget ideas from a better savings model to taxing data centres to reversing transport fares to €2.5 billion inflation fuel fund.
Seven ideas.
All practical. All doable. All to protect our futures in a climate & cost of living crisis.
Plans for the streets around Dublin's Fruit and Vegetable Markets look good, though I suspect a few bollards may be required. Have your say: engage.dublincity.ie/en-IE/projec...
Proud to be in Galway today for a solidarity meeting with Mayor Helen Ogbu following the racist attacks she experienced. A great turnout from across Ireland. Such a strong testament that we stand together and support each other. Thank you, Mayor Helen Ogbu, for the new Renaissance Galway book.

This Government is looking to hike up the fares of public transport by 15-30% that's on average an extra €200 a year for users which in a cost of living crisis is complete madness!
Should you just grin and bear it? "HELL NO!"
My thoughts are with MHR and I wish him a speedy recovery. Every politician, from the Taoiseach to a county councillor, should be able to undertake their work in safety.
We are hosting our annual Think-In today in Dublin, ahead of the reconvening of the Dáil next week. On our agenda; 🌥️Protecting the Climate Act, ⚡Long-term solutions to rising energy costs, 🚍Tackling public transport fare increases ☑️Bye-election reflections
TikTok says it spends €2 billion on trust and safety.
But if they really want to make our kids safer, there’s one simple solution. Turn off the engagement driven recommender for children!
It’s time to put children’s wellbeing before social media companies profits.
@briansmyth99.bsky.social on fire here at Belfast City Hall! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 @rodericogorman.bsky.social @greenparty.ie @hazelchu.bsky.social
@greenpartyireland.bsky.social 's @hazelchu.bsky.social speaks out for our children and grandchildren. Our government must keep our children safe from harm - and hold the online platforms responsible for any harm they allow be caused. Thank you Hazel.
We've had two energy crises in four years because Ireland remains dependent on imported fossil fuels.
The Green Party's €2.5bn Fossil Fuel Inflation Fund would provide targeted support while investing in retrofits and renewables for lasting energy security.
According to the CSO Data Centres consumed 23% of Ireland's metered electricity in 2025 and could consume up to 30% by 2030!
Time they paid for the bigger share! @greenparty.ie are proposing a levy on Data Centre energy usage. It could raise up to 100 million plus in revenue!
This Government wants to gut Climate Law to hide its own failures.
Its not just cowardly but irresponsible and negligent.
You may have heard Gazan students, who have all been accepted onto fully funded scholarships for third-level courses, have had their visa applications turned down. As a nation we proclaim to be supportive of Palestine and want to help them however we can. Allowing students to complete degrees 1/2
Data centres uses 32% of Ireland's total electricity supply but pay almost less than half of the residential rate. So we're effectively subsidizing tech giants during a cost of living & energy crisis. Meanwhile this Govt continues to cheerlead their expansion & continue to fail in their obligations.
