Coghill wraps by thanking the candidates, and thanking everyone for coming.

Fry: Praises her fellow candidates. Emphasizes that who the mayor is will matter a lot and we need to ensure there's a "competent experience person in that role." Says that she would rather people vote for Caron than her, but vote Fry as well.

Mann: Everyone here is doing something with the community. All of us want a safe, livable, affordable community. It comes with economic development, smart development, responsible spending and transparent decision making.

Dandie: Been doing this work, so let's make it official. Guelph is a community and we always pull together when it's most needed. Take someone with you to vote. 27% of people voting for council gives us the council we end up with, make sure your voice is heard.

Barber: Not a politician, but a community builder. We need community to step up, taxes are too high but that doesn't meaning cutting services. Putting together a group to help people with little tasks.

Purves: Property taxes going through the roof, and we can't short change shelter services. Will donate majority of salary to food bank, and chalmers. Get a washroom at central station, and move needle on hospital.

Bridgeman: Known as the guy that does funny little songs on line, but they have a serious message: get out and vote, let break records for the most voter turnout. We can still get there from here.

Bowman: Being cllr will be my main focus. Constituent participation in decision making is important. Known for respectful consensus building. Will help enhance Guelph creative and green reps.

Goller: Constantly fought for housing and permanent funding for shelter services. Worked to safeguard water and protect the environment. Does his homework and puts community first.

Closing statements!

Bowman (rebuttal): Need warm meals every night and free transit for people below living wage. Mann (rebuttal): There's a federal funding option for food security and city hall needs more people writing grants.

Mann: What we're hearing from food security groups is that they'd like a community hub where they can more easily combine efforts. How about Tool Library? Heritage groups? We have schools, daycares, hospital and Homewood in Ward 2, but lots of work to do.

Barber (rebuttal): Goller trying to put it back on the people but City needs to give RCM reliable fudning.

Dandie: Work with a lot of these anti-poverty groups and used a few of them. Need to work with grassroots groups and take another look at Community Benefit Agreements.

Goller (rebuttal): Support RCM and North End Harvest Market.

Barber: Safer Guelph and affordability are the objectives. Talk to seniors who don't have two beans to rub together after rent and meds. Need to support the anti-poverty groups. fund RCM, and have actionable items.

Purves: RCM, DGBA, which needs councillors support, the GGH Foundation because we need that second hospital. Evergreen Seniors Centre too.

Bridgeman: RCM, which does a lot of stuff including concerts. Wants to help other groups and encourage artist communities to come up with ways to promote the city.
