On Day 1 as governor, I will issue a moratorium on new data center projects until we have clear statewide guidelines that protect our land, our water, and Oklahoma families from footing the bill.

No matter where I go in Oklahoma, I hear the same priorities: fix our public schools, improve healthcare, and make it easier to build a good life here. As governor, I’ll bring people together, work across the aisle, and deliver real results on the issues Oklahomans are asking us to solve.

As governor, I will end these corporate giveaways, protect our land and water, and put Oklahoma taxpayers first. Every single time.

I’ve opposed this deal from the beginning. I haven’t changed my position because the politics changed. Taxpayers shouldn’t be handing hundreds of millions of dollars in incentives to a project majority-owned by a UAE state-owned company while Oklahoma families are being asked to take on the risk.

Oklahomans are tired of the fighting. They’re ready for a governor who will bring people together and actually get things done. I’ve worked across the aisle my entire career, and as governor, I’ll keep working with anyone who wants better for Oklahoma.

25 years later, we remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, the first responders who ran toward danger, and all those who answered the call to serve. May we carry forward the unity we found in one another during our darkest days and never forget the nearly 3,000 lives taken too soon.

Leadership is listening, finding common ground, and using the power you’ve been given to make people’s lives better. That’s how I’ll lead as Governor.

We won’t agree on everything. But we’re still neighbors, and what we do affects each other. No political party gets to tell me who I am or what I believe.
