Listen man, my ankle just be ankle-ing xD well ankle-ing with ligaments that are too loose xD And NO THANKS lol

@chaispots.bsky.socialSep 12, 2026, 3:35 PM

And ultimately give them similar issues and instability from making their ligaments more loose than they should be! A couple sessions to fix an issue is apparently one thing, but regularly scheduled adjustments can lead to permanent issues. (The more you know!) Lol

@chaispots.bsky.socialSep 12, 2026, 3:35 PM

Instead of saying "I'm pretty sure I have some sort of hypermobility disorder/ POSSIBLY HEDS" and it would make my kids getting a diagnosis easier if they have it too. Also things like chiro work is not good (in fact normal people who get adjusted frequently can have their ligaments stretched out -

@chaispots.bsky.socialSep 12, 2026, 3:35 PM

Aww thanks RJ! Thankfully my ankle feels normal once the tendon finds its way back! Just the rest of the body being angry from walking funny lol There isnt a way to fix my lax ligaments, but I've heard strength training can help. But the main benefit would be just having it documented-

@chaispots.bsky.socialSep 12, 2026, 3:29 PM

Aww thank you! It's honestly not too bad after it goes back into place! The tendon just slips out of place and acts like a sprain until it goes back in! Ankle feels good, just my stupid bitch body being mad from me walking funny 🀣 joys of hypermobility! But having a diagnosis would be good,

@chaispots.bsky.socialSep 12, 2026, 3:29 PM

Even if the most good it does is to make it easier for my kids to have it diagnosed if they have it. Apparently strength training can help some with the joint instability. But also I've found out that chiropractic work can be dangerous for hypermobile people (esp the neck) so it's good to know!

@chaispots.bsky.socialSep 12, 2026, 2:41 AM

I just need to actually pursue a legit diagnosis, mostly I want to do it for my kids' sake- in case they also have it. My eldest definitely has some hypermobility. But it would be good for me to know too.

@chaispots.bsky.socialSep 12, 2026, 2:41 AM

Moved back into place after I sat down, I now have soreness and tweaked stuff in my hips, back and side, wheeeeee. I probably should actually pursue getting a diagnosis at some point. I suspect HEDS or at least HSD. I have a laundry list of symptoms and past injuries to back up suspicions.

@chaispots.bsky.socialSep 12, 2026, 2:41 AM

3 years ago when I broke my foot and sprained my other ankle. And proceeded to hobble around slowly to put away the other groceries before sitting on the couch. Apparently 20+ minutes of altered gait to be able to move (painfully, still) pissed off the rest of my body. So while the tendon finally-
