I've spent the last 10 years harping on this issue. Primarily with PC games and movie/music streaming. People always had a choice on whether they wanted to own or lease a game when buying diskless consoles. Now that the choice is getting taken away. Pricing must be adjusted to reflect reality.

It's pitiful. I don't see the value in it when there's nothing but junk, low bitrates and no serious surround formats. It's like watching TV in the 80s with an antenna.

Do disc's, low framerates, higher than reasonable retail game prices, superior mods support, higher quality VR tech.... seems like PC gaming is the only way forward now.
