Blimey! Quite the challenge now. How common is this hybridisation do you know?

Greylags done well to make the highlights list!

A great book!

The Aurora is showing currently at home looking north at Chatsworth 👍 pop out and try it if you can.

By Deer?

Yes that sounds familiar. Ogston still hangs on to a couple but very hard now. All good mate thank you 👍

We still get both in Derbyshire but in steep decline. Willow are possibly more obvious due to small pockets of them disappearing altogether. Just holding on at Carsi where we went Tim but now gone from Carr Vale even. Marsh still has the large mature parks & I think that makes it harder to determine

Does anyone even know how many are released and what regulation that gets?

Sora at Porthellick! It’s happening….

Nice ping pong head! Only one I’ve seen was there. Rather tame I recall 👍 all to come 😉

How’s the birding? Looks like westerlies due to hopefully being goodies your way 👍

Gotta love a MdJ 👍

What a sight!

Their advance maybe not as quick as feared but some are quite concerned…..👀

And now at large over here! 😬

Went to Carsington yesterday afternoon to look for the Pec Sand from the night before. It was very distant but another wader joined it & then both spooked by a Hobby. Jon & I stuck with them & after much scrutiny in various places it became clear there were two! @derbyshirebirds.bsky.social

This day in 2022 @richardttaylor.bsky.social Look at the difference in vegetation for Wyver Lane now. @derbyswildlife.bsky.social any plans?
