@stellth.bsky.socialReposted by @briandupont.bsky.socialIt’s like drawing on an absorbent thick tissue. Book edges show the yellow line positions across the top and black across the front the black center line.
@briandupont.bsky.socialNice! I like the use of the book form as a different way to explore a sequence. I also love how he handmade deckle n the edges. The paper I’m using is Wanderings handmade watercolor paper - 11x17- 500GSM. I don’t know how much I like it, the surface is very soft, but it is very cheap.
@briandupont.bsky.socialThe pallet on this one is almost an accident: I was playing with grease pencils left around, and these were the only 2 colors I had!
@stellth.bsky.socialReposted by @briandupont.bsky.socialBeen following Brian Dupont for quite some time. Love this work on paper. I'm currently working with the same color palette. #seenlikedshared

@ezralevin.bsky.socialReposted by @briandupont.bsky.socialâť—âť—âť—Mark Zuckerberg's meta just suspended the No Kings Instagram account. I just rushed back from my local No Kings to jump on this. Bottom line, would be helpful for all pro-No Kings folks to elevate the issue and help us get the word out about No Kings today. The Nerd Reich strikes again.

@briandupont.bsky.socialNew drawing group, on Indian paper made from recycled cotton rag. It has an unconventional rough surface, almost like irregular textiles. All are mixed media on torn letter size paper (11” x 8.5”)
@briandupont.bsky.socialTo be clear, it is the 14 YO who’s understanding of what physics (specifically quantum mechanics) is derived from watching Ant Man. I don’t know a lot, but I did my pop-sci physics reading…

@sbworkersunited.orgReposted by @briandupont.bsky.socialHappy Labor Day! We’re out in Nashville to remind everyone that Starbucks has become the poster child for corporate greed. If you support workers, it’s time to BOYCOTT STARBUCKS until they stop stonewalling the over 12,000 union baristas fighting for a fair contract!
