To be fair, its a primarily a hotel / wedding venue, The venue was fantastically accommodating for anyone including non residentals who wanted to order in take away. The bar food was open most of the day, and there were baps available late into the night after the kitchen was "closed"

No website is safe from AI crawling and helping itself to content. Big or small and the cpu and bandwidth overheads can be murder for smaller usually low traffic sites. May do not honor robots.txt and some do user agent spoofing and have a distributed bot net to make IP based blocking ineffective.
