@lrlr.bsky.socialIt's so weird when you're writing a crossword and a theme accidentally emerges. Like, why are 25 per cent of these clues about chickens for some reason.
@lrlr.bsky.socialWe’ve been wanting to do a clue based on this wordplay for years! Many have tried, this was the first version to make it through the gauntlet of test solving and Get Angas’s tick. I think discovering a good U word helped unlock this idea
