I really wanted to channel some of those older oneshots I was rereading, I think I got the vibe right for Gojo and Yuuji. I really love struggling-through-grief artist and the breath of fresh air model tropes, they're fun to play with.

For the Bound by Fate 5U zine, I went with a photographer/model au (I was reading Mars) 📷 When Nobara first pointed out Satoru in the bar, Yuuji didn't think much of him 📷4k romance, drama, hurt/comfort 📷All of that changed once he took up his modelling offer and started to see a new side to him

Title: through the viewfinder
Summary: “I want you to model for me.” When Yuuji first heard Satoru’s offer, he thought it was a scam. There had to be a hidden meaning behind it. Why would this photographer pick him out of all people? But between acting classes and rent, he needed the money.

What was the worst that could happen?

A sneak peek of my piece for the Unyielding Heart Hashira zine! Gyomei is trying his best to relearn trust, and his fellow Hashira help.

The zine is open for preorders, make sure to snag a copy while you can!

“Oh.” Gyomei set down his cup, unable to refute the critique. Ever since he had joined the Corps, he had met many people: his teacher, his mentor, his fellow disciples. The people he saved, the people who saved him, and even those who assisted his missions in the smallest of ways.

And every time they talked, every word they said, all he could hear was Sayo’s accusation.

Gyomei hesitated before asking, “How do you do it, master? There are still so many who distrust you or mock you, yet you always greet them warmly.”

No matter the problem, Kagaya Ubayasaki always knew the answer.

It was the setup for the reconciliation that never happened 😭Two stubborn idiots 😭

He'd have such a hard time dealing with children. "Can you turn into a couch if you ate a couch?" "that's not how it--" "Could you turn into a car?"

Post-Canon team 7 is great because they're all on even footing. Kakashi can go annoy them and they can annoy him back. I wanted to also dig into Sasuke's, Sakura's, and Naruto's positions now so this was a fun way to showcase that. And Iruka!

For Path of Life: A Kakashi zine , I had to go with some team 7 love 🐶Kakashi had longed for retirement. He just hadn't realized how boring it would be 🐶3k comedy, fluff, friendship/family 🐶 Luckily, he has three adorable (easy to reach) former students he could hang out with (annoy)

Title: retirement greys
Summary: The funny thing about retirement was this: no one ever talked about just how much time there was in a day. And how little there was of it for everyone else. By now, Sakura and Naruto were at work, Sasuke was off training, and anyone else he knew was either dead or busy. And he was doing nothing.

It was time to change that.

Or, how Kakashi made his boredom everyone else’s problem.
