Trump’s $500 checks are a joke. In my district, a family of 3 is seeing premiums go up by $900 a month. A $500 check won’t even cover 1 month of that increase.

Could you imagine the confused outrage and coverage that would have happened if Biden sent out $500 Treasury checks to select Americans with a note that said it was because Trump overcharged them for healthcare?

The ACA subsidies that Donald Trump killed averaged $550/mo/person. And now he’s sending them one time $500 checks. What a fucking clown.

New: Trump’s abrupt announcement to send $90 payments to seniors by dipping into a Medicare fund has rattled Capitol Hill. One GOP aide told WaPo that lawmakers had planned to use the money to offset funding for community health centers, diabetes programs and other initiatives.

It’s interesting how the standard bearer for the party whose message used to be “Democrats suck because they just buy votes by giving people free stuff” has decided the closing message for the midterms will just be “how many more checks do we have to send you in order to earn your vote?”

This makes check promise number three in just the past few weeks. We’ve got the $5000 check promise (but only if the Republicans win the midterms), the $500 checks already sent out to people who got shafted by the GOP cutting Obamacare subsidies, and now $90 checks supposedly going to seniors.

NEWS: Trump launches nationwide effort to bribe voters before November. He is sending $500 checks to battleground states with a letter blaming Biden for high costs. Privately, Republicans are telling him off and admitting that the GOP is a "sinking ship." Horrible economic numbers.
