Principal Research Scientist in Computer Vision at Naver Labs Europe
Post-#ICLR2027 deadline cycling break
Just found some potential candidates
As far as I know, the only paraglider-colleague that has landed right in the park of Naver Labs Europe's castle did it for a promoting video π but some colleagues definitely often go paragliding in the morning or during lunch breaks
I think many people sometimes continue refining experiments or developing ideas beyond the deadline to improve the submission. In some companies, one also needs to wait until a patent application has been filed (some countries do not allow provisional applications).
Pourcentages look a bit lower than usual. I suspect there were many mismatches between the title list from the ECCV website (where it was still the submission titles, not the camera-ready) and the titles on arXiv (search is robust to small changes, but some larger changes might have been missed).
When were #ECCV2026 papers available on arXiv? π
Straight lines, one kilometer away from a computer vision conference #ECCV2026

A good source of "beautifying tables" can also be obtained by comparing the Springer's version and the author's version π π΅βπ«π‘
Thanks Springer for the careful proofreading of my ECCV paper. I completely forgot to mention that my 60Β° FoV camera was, in fact, operating at 60Β°C. π΅βπ«π‘π
