(Not that she's heading that way any longer. Maybe there's something showing at the drive-in?)

Seems Zilla's had an abrupt growth spurt. Perhaps if she just acts natural, no one will realize she's the one who worsened the pothole situation in the downtown. It could be any kaiju who happened to trip and fall on their rear on their way to the movie theater.

I do sometimes question the wisdom of having the wiggliest, waviest, most balloon-outside-a-car-dealership Doctor climbing to the top of a steeple in pouring rain. That seems like Amy and Rory should've have had to deal with Capaldi for the next two seasons.
Something strange is disturbing the ocean's currents; something attached to a very large hand. Something that will create a much, much bigger wave if it manages to make its way to Earth...
While helping to rescue survivors, they encounter a woman who insists that she saw a giant hand emerging from the ocean. The authorities dismiss her claims, but the Doctor has her own suspicions.

They say two heads are better than one, how about 3?
I frowned, looking out past the arrivals screen. The snow had been smooth, before. But down the street, I saw a disturbance, like something had been dragged along into the yard. I stared at that fenced in yard for a long minute, looking for something, anything. Daring it to move.
Three minutes until the bus. I pulled out my phone, but my gloves didn’t work on touchscreens. Anyway, as soon as I looked down, the gnawing dread in my spine got ten times worse. My head whipped up and I glanced up and down the street. Just as before, there was nothing and no one in sight. Except…
Standing alone on that snowy street, I felt that same prickling unease that I had on the bus earlier. I glanced around. Nobody there. No cars, even. No sound aside from the gentle hush of snow in the wind. No movement aside from branches swaying gently.
Eventually, I arrived at the stop. I checked the digital display. My bus was running behind, I still had five minutes to wait. I brushed the snow off the bench and sat down. Instantly, I regretted it, the ice-cold plastic freezing its way through my jeans like it was nothing. I decided to stand.
It was a clear night, but there was no moon to light my path. I had to rely on the warm yellow streetlights and the windows of neighboring houses as I made my way down the road to the bus stop. I nearly slipped once or twice on a patch of ice, but always managed to catch myself.

"It snaked around and looked at its prey with searing orbs, emitting an eerie otherworldly light into the dim expanse. "Don't look at its eyes," Chip warned. "It's the teeth I'm looking at!" said the Doctor."
"It was colossal. A gargantuan serpentine body covered in thick impenetrable scales that shimmered like liquid metal. The Leviathan reared its huge black head and flicked its tail, which was armed with towering sharp spikes."

On the other hand... it had been given another chance. A chance to reach out farther than ever before, a chance to touch the heavens. A chance, at long last, to land upon the moon. It would suffer the ego of Bellerophon. For now.
Mercury itself had heavily mixed feelings about all this. Being given a face felt wrong. It was a mask placed over the gazing void of its helmet, hiding the majestic expanse of the universe behind one man. It ached for the uniting vision and hope that it once inspired.
In the late 2010s, however, the rights to its image were acquired by the private rocket company Bellerophon, whose founder, tech billionaire Alexander O'Ryan, claimed he had fond memories of the cartoon spaceman in his youth... so much so that when it was redesigned, they gave it his face.
