The GOP won’t pay a price. You can’t suddenly undo the virulent bigotry conservatives have regressed to. You can’t suddenly undo the far right media consolidation or the billionaires who own our government. It would require massive reworking of our government & the Dems aren’t up for it.

Very sad to watch the decline from the outside. The whole system looks pretty shaky from here. *Maybe there is something to be said for multi-party coalition governments*

It's the opposite, they're buying CNN with the Paramount/WB merger, have captured the majority of social media: Xitter, Facebook, Instagram, TiKTok are all owned by far-right maniacs. Billionaires own the Washington Post and NYT, and basically all TV news. Trump's death will not be the end of MAGA.

The GOP stood up against Nixon once Watergate came out. That's why he resigned. Very different GOP these days, and Trump is very different from Nixon. Nixon's paranoia and ego brought him down in the end, but he wasn't a narcissistic self-dealing fascist-wannabe.

As a Canadian, your whole country has got some 'splaining to do. GOP for enabling him. Dems for being powerless to stop Trump 2.0. It may take a couple of generations to fully open our hearts, and wallets, to the US again.

(5/X) there won't be happy ending. Future generations will look on us with disgust and dismay.

(1/X) Nothing good and nothing satisfying will come out of the Trump era. He will leave the country in much worse shape than he found it. The GOP will pay a price for this politically but not not one that is commensurate with the damage he caused...

LIVE STREAMING OF A MILITARY FIRING SQUAD EXECUTION? I don’t care who they’re shooting, or why, the very nature of this execution is uncivilised, barbaric and entirely foreign to the values and ethics of a modern democratic nation - or they should be. The use of the firing squad is drama,

I drew this tribute to the late Sam Kieth recently. Colors by Michael Turney - This illustration can be found in the new issue of Lion Cosmique, from @cosmiclion.bsky.social

When they indict Cassidy Hutchinson it will be a great opportunity for her and her legal team to find a way to put in the public record all the powerful 50-, 60-, and 70-year-old Republican members of Congress who secretly propositioned her sexually when she was college-age (20) Way to go Trump

The Orange Terror needs to have the 25th amendment slapped on him soon. Hes saying that the destruction of LA or San Diego would be a "small price to pay" He has no concept of civility, humanity or empathy. Vote Blue and get the Regime Out!
